Members of CBZ are invited to help build the Sukkah on Tuesday, September 29 at 6pm. Come and Join the Fun.
And the Children of the Learning Center will decorate the Sukkah on Wednesday, September 30 from 3:30-5:30pm

Friday, October 2 @ 7 PM. Erev Sukkot Services followed by blessings in the Sukkah.
Saturday, October 3 @ 9:30 AM Sukkot services, Sam Klitenick's Bar Mitzvah, followed by special lunch/Kiddush honoring Sam.

Sunday October 4 @ 9:30 AM Sukkot Second Day , Blessings with the Lulav and Etrog, Festival Service.

Thursday October 08 @ 7 PM Erev Hoshanah Rabbah
Friday October 9 @ 8 AM Hoshanah Rabbah ( last day of the Sukkot Festival and final sealing in the Book of Life).

Note:
Hoshanah Rabbah (Friday October 9 @ 8pm) is the day that the Rabbi observes his father's Yahrzeit.
He would very much appreciate your help in forming a minyan on that holiday so that he may say Kaddish.

Shemini Atzeret/ Simchat Torah

Saturday, October 10 @ 9 AM Shemini Atzeret/ Simchat Torah. combined into one day(in keeping with the practice in Israel),
followed by a special festive Kiddush.
Bring the children for the joyous Hakkafot consisting of singing and dancing around the shul with the Torahs.
Those of you who can, please try to come on time and help make a minyan. The Hallel service, with its beautiful melodies,
is sung within about 15 minutes of the start of the service on each of the days of the holiday.

As many of you all know, the High Holiday Services at CBZ are more enjoyable

than at any other synagogue because of the CBZ choir and melodies chosen

under the direction of our Cantor Dr. John Kreinces.

Your enjoyment and participation can be ever greater if you picked up copies of

Dr John Kreinces Shabbat Services CD and High Holiday CD that are available in the Gift Shop.

These are absolutely wonderful CD's of CBZ Cantor John singing all the songs.

Every CBZ member should have both of these CD's at home.

Do a mitzva and give them as Gifts to your family and friends this holiday season.

These CD's will help you sing along with John at the Services.

If you are going away for the summer, pick up a copy or two.
